The world was nothing until the day of September 24, 1986. What happened? It was the day when the lovely Leah Dizon stepped into this world. Leah’s full name is Leah Donna Dizon.Her ethnicity is Chinese, Filipino, and French. Her Mother is French American and her Father is Filipino and Chinese.
She is not Japanese at all. Leah was born in Las Vegas, NV in the United States. She also has two younger brothers, an older sister and two older brothers.She started her career as a model for import car magazines at the age of 18.She was introduced to this industry when she did a photo shoot with Lianne Lin. She gained lots of success because of her gorgeous photos.
Leah attended multiple car shows and events.She realized that she has always been into singing her whole life. So she sent a demo tape to a talent agency in Japan. Victor Entertainment noticed that she had lots of potential and approved her asap.Leah was so excited so she took this chance and undeniably did phenomenally well in this career.
Now, she has two great singles that have been released: Softly which has been released on February 14, 2007 and Koi Shiyou which was released on May 30, 2007. She has also released two exquisite and beautiful photo books: Petite Amie (Girlfriend in French) which was released on October 2006 and Hello! Leah, which was released on the same day as Koi Shiyou on May 30, 2007.Victor Entertainment is lucky to have her in their company and is absolutely very proud of her accomplishments.
These singles have gained her even more fans who all think she is the ideal dream girl. She has also done some commercials like promoting Ninja Gaiden and also for Lotte chocolate. The next single is expected to be released on August 7, 2007.
Since Leah has stepped into the world of singing, she is currently having a long term stay in Japan to expand her singing career. She hopes to improve her skills in the Japanese language. She was born in a very Americanized environment so she does not know any of her native languages.She is working as hard as she can to master this language so that she can become fluent and write her songs in Japanese.
She writes her songs in English then gets translators to translate her songs for her. So when she masters this language, all her hard work will save her some time and help her write even better songs, even though her songs are already amazing.Although Leah is only a rookie in the singing industry, everyone knows she will become a great star and perhaps better than her idles such as Utada Hikaru and Namie Amuro.
Some of her fans just love her so much, that they even draw stuff for her because some of her interests include anything involving art, drawing, painting, writing designing, dancing, singing, and piano.
When she was in junior high, she enjoyed playing badminton and earn the title as "champion" in 8th grade. Other facts about her include: that her height is 5’ 6”, weighs 110 lbs, has gorgeous brown hair, and has radiantly beautiful hazel colored eyes. She loves to eat kim chi, yakiniku, spicy foods, and the best food of all,… PHO! Leah also loves cookies!

CAREER:
Leah Dizon received moderate success in America including the cover features of various import car magazines. However, her modeling career in the United States gained her much attention and a fanbase overseas, predominantly in Asia. One year after her pictures were posted up on the internet, she already had 2,000,000 hits from search engines. Following the advice of her fans, Dizon sent a demo tape to a talent agency in Japan and in April of 2006, after being accepted, she immediately moved to Tokyo. In October 2006, she released her first photobook titled Petite Amie (Girlfriend in French), which was ranked as the third best selling photobook of that year.
Dizon made her debut as a singer under the record label Victor Entertainment and on February 14, 2007, she released her first CD single and DVD package, Softly (VIZL-216), which peaked at number #7 in the Oricon Weekly Chart. At the same time, she also released her second photobook titled Hello! Leah.
On May 30, 2007, Dizon released her second single Koi Shiyo?, which also peaked at #7 on the Oricon Weekly Chart. The title track is described as a 'grooving, up-tempo dance song' and the single features 2 B-sides: Could you be that one? and ?????~ Love Story. The title track, Koi Shiyo? is being used in a Lotte TV ad while Could you be that one? is being used in a PlayStation 3 Ninja Gaiden Sigma TV ad, with Dizon starring in both commercials.
On May 26, 2007, Dizon presented the best male video award at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan.
Her next single entitled L.O.V.E U is scheduled to be released on August 8, 2007.
